Perception
The human species is an oddity in itself. Its shape, for example; limbs sprouting from a condensed center, layered with a range of fluids and flesh, cavities leading within us in plain view. Practical, perhaps. Beautiful, never. How anyone can consider a form so deformed as “beautiful” is beyond me. We all share the same raw features that grant us our senses, yet aligned a certain way these features are of greater value. What human perception has shaped our form to be is incredibly optimistic, but extremely blind nonetheless. Humanity is nothing short of ignorantly grotesque in design.
